Chag Pesach Sameach (Happy Passover Festival) & Blessings on This Good Friday.
Today is a extraordinarily Sacred Day; for it marks the beginning of Passover for the Jewish people and Good Friday (also known as Sorrowful Friday and The Great and Holy Friday) for Christians.
Today is a day of fasting, prayer and mourning for many Christians; and tonight will be a night of reflection and feasting with the Seder meal by the Jews. (Tradition says that Jesus' Last Supper was a Seder meal.)
This Seder evening ushers in the seven-to-eight days of Passover; this Good Friday ushers in Easter.
Both holidays share the symbolism of the Passover Lamb, unleavened bread, bitter herbs, and the shedding of blood. Both celebrate G-d's Deliverance for His people.
And on this day - March 30, 2018 - they are the same day.
It is a Blessed Day indeed.
Wishing Everyone A Blessed Passover
&
A Blessed Easter Season!
May it extend to you & yours throughout the whole year.
